What happens when the beta ends? +
You’ll get advance notice before any plan requires payment. Early beta members lock in a founding member rate — typically 40–50% below standard pricing — and you’ll always have the free Starter plan available.
Does HerBid work for local contracts, not just federal? +
Yes. We pull from SAM.gov for federal contracts plus 50+ state and local procurement portals — including Virginia’s eVA system, city-level RFP boards, and county procurement offices. If you’re in the 804, we know your local landscape.
What if I’m not certified yet? +
Start anyway. Our certification tracker walks you through WOSB, MBE, 8(a), SWaM, and DBE applications step by step. You can bid on open (non-set-aside) contracts immediately while your certifications are in process.
Can I cancel or switch plans anytime? +
Always. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel with one click — no phone calls, no penalties. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep full access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the free Starter plan automatically.
What counts as one “AI proposal”? +
Each time you use BidBot to generate a complete proposal draft — executive summary, technical approach, and pricing strategy — for a specific solicitation, that’s one use. Editing, saving, running compliance checks, and re-generating sections are all unlimited.
